What is a Duathlon?

A duathlon is a competition that is composed of running and biking. The usual format for a duathlon is run-bike-run, meaning you start with a run, then transition to the bike, then transition back to running again. Your time starts when you start the race, and finishes when you cross the finish line. This means that the time it takes you to switch from running to cycling and back again is part of your race time.

What are the objectives of the gorilla trail?

The primary objective of organizing the Gorilla Trail event is to create an exhilarating and inclusive platform that challenges participants to push their physical and mental limits through a combination of running and cycling. Who Organises and conducts the Gorilla Trail?

The Gorilla Trail is organised by Bitsport Private Limited. The go-to partner for all sports management needs, ranging from providing software solutions, event management, merchandising, talent management, and more.

What is the age eligibility to participate?

Anyone above the age of 14 years are allowed to participate.

What Kind of Cycle in recommended?

The participant can choose the bike she or he is comfortable riding. We recommend you to ride a mountain bike because of the terrain.

Can I use my ear phones or head phones while participating?

There is no restriction. However it is not advisable to use them during the event as it may lead to accidents.

Can I Participate in multiple categories?

Yes. Contact the race director to customize your registration.

How is the race timed?

Events are timed using timing chip system. Each participant will receive a small chip attached to the BiB.

The chip will automatically register your time as you finish each leg of the race, and when you cross the finish line. No chip means no times will be recorded.

Can I change my trail category after registration?

Yes. Contact the race director to change your registration.

How can I collect my race kit?

You can order it to be delivered to your home for an additional fee or have it picked up from a designated collection point. The collection point will be announced to you over email.

Can I transfer my registration to another person?

Registrations are NOT TRANSFERABLE

Can I register Manually?

Yes. Contact the race director.

Will there be a storage facility?

No, there will be no facility to store your personal belongings. The organisers will not be responsible for your belongings.

Will there be toilets at the facility?

Yes! Toilets will be available at the venue.

Will refreshments be available at the venue?

Yes! You can buy them for an additional fee.
